CALICO, the Computer-Assisted Language Instruction Consortium is an international organization dedicated to research and development in the use of computer technology in language learning. TESOL CALL-IS, the Computer-Assisted Language Learning Interest Section of TESOL defines issues and standards in the field of computer-mediated language instruction, promotes research and development in the area of computer-based language learning and disseminates information about CALL to ESL/EFL educators worldwide. EUROCALL, the European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning aims to provide a European focus for the promulgation of innovative research, development and practice relating to the use of technologies for language learning. IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning Technology , is a professional organization that provides leadership in the development, integration, evaluation andmanagement of instructional technology for the teaching and learning of language, literature and culture. APACALL is an international association which acts as an on-line clearinghouse for language professionals interested in investigating, sharing information, discussing, cooperating and collaborating with fellow professionals working in CALL. WorldCALL aims to enhance computer-assisted language teaching and learning in the global community by bringing educators from around the world together.
